Coconut Halwa - Nariyal Ka Halwa Recipe

  Coconut halwa, how to make coconut halwa, kobbari halwa, nariyal ka halwa with jaggery. Coconut halwa is a quick and easy, healthy dessert recipe which you can make with fresh coconut and jaggery. An ideal healthy diwali sweet for the whole family. Ingredients: 10 cardamons 10 cashew nuts, chopped 10 almonds, chopped 2 tbsp golden raisins 1 whole grated coconut or 2 cups tightly packed grated coconut 1 cup crushed jaggery powder 1/4 cup water 1 tbsp desi ghee This halwa will keep good for a week at room temperature and longer in the fridge.

Masala Peanuts Recipe (Non Fried)

  Masala peanuts, peanut masala (non fried) is a healthy crispy and crunch snack which can be enjoyed by the whole family. Its super healthy and not fried. Baked peanut masala is easy to make at home in just under 15-20 mins. Its gluten free, vegan, and easy to make at home. The whole family can enjoy this guilt free snack. Ingredients: 2 cups raw peanut 1 tsp black peppercorns 4 garlic cloves 1/4 inch ginger 1 tbsp wood pressed ground nut oil 1/3 tsp besan flour 1 tsp pink himalayan salt or as needed 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder 1 tsp amchur powder (dry mango powder) 1/2 tsp chaat masala 1 1/2 tbsp rice flour 2 tbsp arrow root powder 2-3 tbsp water 1 tsp rice flour (add towards the last) -- Method: Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degree C for 15 - 20 mins. Half way through stir the peanuts. Remember oven temperature varies with oven.

  Peanut rice, how to make peanut rice. Peanut rice is a quick vegan meal to make with left over rice. Its ideal for a quick meal or as a quick lunch box meal. First a peanut masala is made which can be stored for a longer time, and then its easy to make peanut rice with the masala. The masala powder can be kept for months at room temperature. Its also ideal to carry when you are travelling.  Ingredients To Make Peanut Masala: 1/4 cup organic peanuts 1 tbsp sesame seeds 2 tbsp channa dal (kadalaparippu) 1 tbsp urad dal 4 cloves garlic 8 whole kashmiri chillies 1/4 cup grated coconut 1/2 tsp jeera (cumin seeds) 1/4 hing (asafoitida) pink himalayan salt as needed A piece of tamarind 3 sprigs of curry leaves ----- Method:  Notes: I prefer to use wood pressed oils in my recipes. In this recipe, I used wood pressed sesame oil to make the peanut rice as sesame oil was used traditionally to make this recipe.
