how to make Indian ghee/desi ghee at home for weight loss, the traditional Ayurvedic way. ghee or clarified butter is an healthy fat which has many benefits and can be made from the cream/malai of milk. Ghee is a superfood and homemade ghee is a must in your diet as it contains many vital nutrients much needed for the body. Ghee helps to lose body fat with its short chain fatty acids. It also helps to absorb fat soluble vitamins like A, E, D, and K2 much needed for combating issues like thyroid, pcod, leaky gut syndrome etc.

Homemade ghee has a subtle yellow color and I have not added any color or flavourings. Desi ghee will harden a little once it has cool down completely.
